Chemistry and Spectroscopy Fundamentals

Session Chair: Dr. Lois Weyer, Alliant Techsystems

Summary: Over-reliance on powerful chemometrics methodologies, and limited resources for method development and deployment has made it difficult for diffuse reflectance practitioners to learn and appreciate the fundamental chemistry and spectroscopy principles that affect diffuse reflectance spectra. This session is a great opportunity to get (re)acquainted with these principles.
